Meet Charlie: Mountain Athlete, Trail Runner and Adventure Guide

Hi, I’m Charlie, a dedicated mountain athlete with a history of pushing the limits in rugged terrain. From skiing in Japan and China to climbing the wild landscapes of Canada, Kyrgyzstan, and the European Alps.

My passion is fast-paced mountain movement and trail running is the perfect way! Over time trail running became more than a hobby. I’ve taken on some of the UK toughest ultramarathons, including Lakeland 100 and Wild Horse 200.


I run for Ellis Brigham whilst also being their official training partner.

I guide with Pure Trails Adventure, leading immersive running trips through remote and beautiful locations such as as Mallorca, Albania and Kyrgyzstan.

My mission is to help others become ‘Advenutreproof’, capable, resilient and ready to take on the mountains with confidence.

Outside of racing and guiding I volunteer with SARA (Severn Area Rescue Association) assist in search and rescue efforts across the region.
